Can I claim on my health fund?
For clients seeking health fund rebates, remedial massage appointments are available and invoiced accurately according to the remedial massage component of the session. Blended Alignment Therapy sessions may not be fully claimable through private health insurance.

What is the difference between remedial massage and relaxation massage?
Relaxation massage is generally focused on calming the body and creating a soothing experience.
Remedial massage is more targeted. It examines areas of pain that contribute to patterns of tension, restriction, or dysfunction and uses specific techniques to support relief and improve movement.
That said, remedial massage does not need to feel harsh or painful. My approach is therapeutic, intuitive, and responsive to your body.
What does holistic wellbeing mean?
You are an ecosystem that thrives when all parts of you are working in harmony. Holistic wellbeing means looking at your physical and non-physical health together.
Our treatments consider you as a whole person, rather than focusing on just one symptom or offering one isolated solution.
Your physical body, nervous system, emotions, thoughts, habits, energy, and life experiences all influence how you feel.
At In Alignment, holistic wellbeing means supporting the body while also honouring the deeper patterns that may be contributing to stress, tension, fatigue, or disconnection.
How do I know which session to book?
If your main concern is physical pain and want to improve posture, movement patterns, strength, or long-term physical support, Remedial Massage (which includes corrective exercise) is a great choice.
If you feel emotionally burnt out, disconnected, spiritually curious, or aware that something deeper is asking for your attention, Alignment Therapy may be the most beneficial starting point.
If you are unsure, you can choose the session that feels closest to what you need, and we can adjust from there. Many sessions naturally combine different elements depending on what your body and energy system need.
Do I need to be spiritual to book a session?
No. You do not need to identify as spiritual to benefit from these therapies. Many of my clients come to me initially with no prior experience or understanding of the energy body or the science behind the mind-body connection. Come with curiosity and an open mind, and you may be surprised by how much sense you find in it all!
The work can be adapted in a grounded way. We can speak in terms of scientific anatomy and structure, nervous system, subconscious patterns - or more expansive terms such as body awareness, intuition, energy, and spiritual wisdom.
We can discern his together depending on what feels most accessible to you.
How is corrective exercise different from personal training?
Personal training often focuses on general fitness, strength, weight loss, or aesthetics.
Corrective exercise coaching is more specific. It looks at movement patterns, imbalances, posture, joint positioning, muscle activation, and areas of recurring tension or discomfort.
At In Alignment, corrective exercise is educational and personalised to what your body needs to function more optimally. It is especially helpful if you feel disconnected from your body or unsure how to move without pain and in ways that support you.
Is Alignment Therapy like counselling?
Alignment Therapy is not counselling, psychology, or medical treatment.
While sessions may explore emotions, beliefs, memories, and life patterns, the approach is more intuitive, body-based, and energetically focused.
It is designed to support self-awareness, reconnection, and personal insight. It can work beautifully alongside counselling or other professional support, but it does not replace mental health care where that is needed.
How do online Alignment Therapy sessions work?
Online Alignment Therapy sessions are held via video call. You will need a quiet, private space where you feel comfortable, along with a stable internet connection.
Depending on the session, you may be guided through conversation, meditation, visualisation, body awareness, or distance energy work.
Online sessions can be just as powerful as in-person sessions because the work is based on your awareness, intuition, and inner experience.
How many sessions will I need?
I would love to give a single answer, but the reality is, every person's timeline is different. I pride myself on my honesty and a genuine desire to see you overcome your challenges.
Whilst I can confidently say most clients experience noticeable improvements after the first session, and compounding progress within the first 3 sessions, results will vary depending on:
- The current health of your body
- How consistently you adhere to the home care advice/self-care plan provided
- Your willingness to participate in your own healing
My role is not just to work on your body, but to teach you to work with your body. There are no magic fixes, only deeply rewarding progress earned with your presence and discipline. Results from treatments will only ever be temporary if you do not take responsibility for the maintenance and progression of your recovery.
